Why music as a mission?

Music is one of the central ways Peapack Reformed Church gives voice to its faith. Through hymns, choral music, bells, instruments, and congregational song, music helps us pray, remember, rejoice, grieve, and worship together. It carries Scripture into the heart and gives the whole congregation a shared language of praise.

Our music ministry is not simply performance. It is an offering, a form of service, and a way of welcoming people into the presence of God. Whether through a familiar hymn, a special anthem, or the sound of many voices joining together, music helps us live out our calling to be a worshiping, faithful, and gathered community.

“Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly… teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”
