Call to Worship

Votum

Our help is in the name of the Lord, who made heaven and earth.

                      Amen

  The Lord be with you

           And also with you.

Darkness is all around,

but great things happen in the dark.

Seeds planted in the dark bloom into flowers.

Humans formed in the dark are born.

From within the night we see a great light.

That light is the presence of God.

We greet a child, Emmanuel, God with us.

Let us live in the light of the coming of Christ.

Let us worship God!

Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ

Amen.

Silent Night, holy night!                                 Silent night, holy night

All is calm, all is bright, Son of God, love’s pure light

Round yon virgin mother and child! Radiant beams from thy holy face,

Holy infant, so tender and mild,        With the dawn of redeeming grace,

Sleep in heavenly peace, Jesus Lord, at thy birth,

Sleep in heavenly peace. Jesus Lord, at thy birth.

Shepherds quake at the sight, Wondrous star, lend thy light;

Glories stream from heaven afar, With the angels, let us sing,

Christ the Savior is born, Christ the Savior is born,
