S.H.I.P. Mobile Soup Kitchen

Now it is even easier to support the mobile kitchen of the Samaritan Homeless Interim Program (S.H.I.P.) .  This is the program that brings hot meals to hungry men, women and especially children at various locations in Somerset County.

Peapack Reformed Church has been supporting this program for many years, and now in the church kitchen are available for your use aluminum pans and covers, labels, and even easy recipe suggestions.

Needed are any of these foods:

  • canned food, especially peanut butter and tuna
  • canned ham
  • fresh fruit
  • casseroles (simple!)
  • bread
  • salad mix / cut up veggies

Casseroles may be brought in at any time. They will be stored in the freezer in the church kitchen until delivered. Perishables should be brought to church on the 4th Sunday or the following Monday no later than 10  AM.
