The Food Bank Network of Somerset County
The mission of The Food Bank Network is to distribute food and to provide other basic human needs to those less fortunate in their community in a manner which recognizes and advances self worth and human dignity. Their method of distributing this food is through three food pantries, located in Somerville, Bound Brook, and North Plainfield, and a warehouse in Bridgewater. Their goal is to help create the opportunity for each person to become self-sufficient.

Good News Home for Women
The Good News Home for Women is a long-term residential rehabilitation center for women who want to overcome the life-destroying effects of alcohol and other drug addictions. Founded as a Christian nonprofit organization in 1983 by the late G. Tracy Ginsburg, the Home offers a holistic approach of healing to the mind, body and spirit. The on-going process of recovery and growth is achieved at the Home through a comprehensive non-denominational, but spiritually focused program. Their services are offered to women, 18-years of age and older, without regard to race, religion, color, national origin, or the ability to pay.

Rutgers Protestant Campus Ministries
Rutgers University Protestant Ministries is supported by the American Baptist Church, the United Church of Christ, the Reformed Church in America, the Presbyterian Church (USA), and the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America. They welcome students from any of these denominations, as well as students of any other faiths who are interested in exploring Christian beliefs. Their goals are to serve the community, explore and deepen their beliefs, and provide fellowship opportunities. The organization is under the supervision of Reverend Barbara Heck, a Presbyterian minister.

Paraguay Mission / Dare to Care
 Dare To Care: Alliance For Children ("DTC") is a Christian organization dedicated to working with individuals and other organizations to help meet the special needs for families with children who are under-privileged, temporarily displaced, or coping with illness or disability. DTC provides aid in the form of basic necessities, shelter, medical essentials and assistance, understanding and support. The Paraguay Mission Project, in conjunction with Dare to Care Alliance for Children organizes an annual trip to Paraguay. The mission team leaves for approximately 10 days of serving children in remote villages with medical and dental care, gifts of bikes, strollers, shoes, clothing and food, and worship services filled with music and praise to God.
