Service to Community
Beyond the doors of our church, Peapack Reformed is actively in service to the community.  If you feel called upon to help those in need as a member of the body of Christ, consider sharing in our mission.

Paraguay Mission Project
Written by Pia Hamlin

Dare to Care Peapack Reformed Church has joined with local resident and business owner Pia Hamlin to support a mission trip to Paraguay in September.  Pia, with help from friends in Peapack-Gladstone as well as surrounding communities, has organized a trip like this for the past four years.  A fundraising dinner held at Café Azzurro in early July raised more than $10,000.  The project is now gathering toys, bicycles, strollers, shoes and clothing to be shipped via container to Paraguay.  Donations may be brought anytime through Sunday, August 10, to the church’s lower parking lot where they will be picked up everyday by the Paraguay truck.  Coming up on Saturday, September 6, will be a concert in our sanctuary where Pia and her friends will be singing and performing a variety of Christian music to raise additional funds and to give a spirited send-off to the mission team that will leave for Paraguay a few days later. Click here for a flyer with information about the concert.  For more information about this important mission, click here for a flyer with more about the Dare to Care Alliance for Children.  And be sure to visit their web site at www.daringyoutocare.org.
